Does anyone use the 'friends' application included in their profile? I mean, if you've posted, survived at least one flame/rant, and haven't been banned, then technically you're a 'friend' right? I was just curious to see if anyone added posters as friends here. My brief perusal of profiles says no...any idea why (not)?
Oh Wow! A friend! Hoorah! Only now I have to dust the mantle and whatnot - because someone might come visit. Gee, thanks. ^_^ (Not that I have a mantle, but anyway).
Now you get in a tiff so that one of you can remove the other from their friend list. Then the other one will notice that you're not their friend any more and will remove you from theirs. In a huff, you will both glare at the computer screen, making faces at it and calling it all manner of vile names. Then you'll eventually make up and add one another to the friend list again. Rinse lather repeat.
Question to those who actually tried it: Could it be that you can use the albums and blogs on this site so that only those users classified as your friends can view them?
That's a very good question. I'm going to sit back and wait while someone else answers it. -Thanks for the add Mal...now I have 2 whole friends to show the world. That's Proof that is.
Albums can be i - open for public viewing, ii - private (self only) views or iii - registered members only. Blogs don't appear to have that option. I did post one specially for this experiment.
Another query~ How does everyone feel about having people post on your visitor's board? I myself don't mind people posting on mine, but am reluctant to post on someone else's unless there is already a post there. I feel like i'm graffitiing (sp?) it.
