That five year old has a large vocabulary for one so young!

Pretty cool collection of pictures. Though I'm a bit disappointed that Death looks a bit grinch-like, rather than an average human skull as I think he should be.

I was thinking more in accuracy than grammer. :D

"Susan leads a gang" and so forth.

I think my favourite picture is the one of Ridcully with the Wow Wow Sauce.

Some amazing photos there ! They certainly did a great job on the casting, I can't wait to see this...

Strangely enough I have only just realised the link between Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas and Hogfather... Sometimes, I'm a real snail...

Umm... I think it goes back further than T B to Dr Suess (Seuss, seues gaah, can't remember how to spell it now)

I'm not too sure whether I like Death's look in this, but Susan, Teatime, Albert, the wizards, the God of Hangovers, and the city watch look great.

    Awesome photos! :)

I'm seriously wondering if Death looks the way he does because the hollows in the mask's cheekbones serve as eyepieces for the actor!

(But yeah, I think that Death shouldn't look icky and/or frightening. I think he ought to have looked neutral - like an ordinatory skeleton!)

    Definitely.

Come to think of it, he kind of looks like your avatar, Drunky! :)

Yar. I have came to a point in my life when I do not know who is better. Murray, or Death. Ahhhh!

This is the first time I have taken this project seriously as something that could actually be good. The pictures have filled me with hope! Thanks for the link, Red Avenger.

There'll be a DVD from March on. So for those not receiving SKY, it might go to their Easter wishlist...

Also, it seems it will be broadcasted in Germany (Pro7) in January. Huzzah!

    It never happened.
    No airing in Germany.

Well, that's not true - first live action, perhaps, but what about Cosgrove Hall's 'Wyrd Sisters' and 'Soul Music'??
  16. Buzzfloyd Spelling Bee

Not even first live action - what about the many plays by Stephen Briggs?

But this appears to be a spammer, Mithras, so we don't expect him to make sense!

Indeed. Marketing doesn't have to be true, or make sense. It is just there to draw in your interest, and possibly tie you in emotionally to the product.

Not to mention that no-expense-spared production we started here.

It was my fault that never got off the ground, wasn't it? We should resurrect it!

    Hi guys,

There's a new website for the DVD's launch: HOGFATHER - OWN IT ON DVD APRIL 23

Have a look and see what you think. There's a lot of interactive features to have a go with (some of which will be amended throughout the coming week).

    Cheers

Wow, he finally sounds like a human now. That first one was more of a marketing blurb then anything else.

    Doesn't make it OK though.

Death sucks in this!! Reminds me of Skeletor in that crappy He-man film from the 80's! Yes, I know they're both 'skelingtons'. Just mean with how cheap-ass it looks! But a least it doesn't have Dolf in it! <Shudder>

Even worse than that ....ing Arnold Sweatyknickers!
  23. jaccairn New Member

You may not have noticed but Hogfather actually won a BAFTA last night for 'Best Interactivity'! (I'm not sure what that actually means but at least it's something.)
  24. Mithras-Kosmokrator New Member

Excellent! I'm afraid I didn't bother to watch the BAFTAs when I found out that (outrageously) Doctor Who wasn't even nominated.
