This made me chuckle a bit:

I am actually laughing. This worries me.

    It's dutch!
As I speak Dutch(uguese), I will now translate:

    "Huggy Hugs"

    "Hello, Mr. Toadstool!"
    "Hello, Huggy!"

It has a kind of Perry Bible Fellowship feel to it...
  5. Electric_Man Templar

Yeah, it's because it's morbidly twisted, isn't it? Is funny though, despite being dutch.
  6. Katcal I Aten't French !

Rings a little Happy Tree Friends-ish to me... but yeah... chuckle.

    Same artist:

    MARRY ME

Pretty funny, this one. having fun with a Britney type popstar.

He's a great artist, and I like the setting ideas, but an occasional guest author might make things perfect. I still like the comic.

    Something slightly different:
    Lizzy

(I haven't seen many flash comics around yet. - The pictures are hand drawn at first, and then programmed into the semi animations.)

Add: I was referring to "No Pink Ponies". I've browsed through "Marry me" by now and think "Eisu" profits from collaboration.

IgorMina: I hadn't seen the Cheery strips yet. They're actually pretty funny.

    Hsing: I agree.

Re: "Lizzy". I can't read comics like that. Really annoying. gods...

I saw the Cheery one just a few days ago for the first time, which is a coinkydink. I like the artwork on the Lizzy, but some of the text is too small to read easily.

Now this is the opposite case to "No Pink Ponies": Amusing writing (so far), but not much of an artist. ;) But the puns are nice.

    Awesome !

    Thanks, Bauke!

Has anyone already posted this? I followed a link from the brilliant but slow-to-update Butternut Squash (current strip is a guest strip) to Good Ship Chronicles. I've just caught up on the archive - quite enjoyable, I thought. Although the jokes are sometimes a little heavy-handed, the artwork is brilliant.

It's strangely poignant at times. I enjoy it more this way.

You want awesome art and a kick ass story?

    Kukuburi

By Ramón Perez, the artist from Butternutsquash.

    Beautiful work.
  25. Orrdos God

There's actually a funnier version where garfield is still in, but, his thought bubbles are removed. Makes him a normal silent cat.

It's genius. Suddenly, Jon becomes a mad loser confined to talking to his pets.

No garfield is funny, sure. But silent garfield becomes comedy gold.

This one is a nice read, and looks good too... I hope it hasn't been posted before, but I don't think so:

It becomes better after the first chapter, which is kind of short cut.

Hmm. I wanted to edit my "Abominable Charles Christopher" post and I think I accidentally deleted the entire post.

So here's it again, with the reason for the planned edit being that read through the archives.

    The Abominable Charles Christopher

    Fantastically drawn webcomic.
Hilarious, Sad, Spiritual (in more than one sense of the word) and just plain amazing.

First page here: The Abominable Charles Christopher - Episode One

Edit: Hmmm, I clicked the "minimize" button... D'oh...

I was going to link to Kukuburi, then I saw that Bauke already had.

I am also still loving Goblins.

    I found a nice comic.

The art is a bit... Well, it's made in MS Paint, I think, and although I've seen veritable masterpieces made in MS paint, the art of this comic isn't. (Yet)

The story is "slice of life".

The reason I'm putting it here is that
    a) I enjoy reading it, because the writer has a sense of humour I like.
    b) It was made by a (Semi-retired? It's been 6 months since she logged on.) board member.

    Fries With That? - DrunkDuck.com
  37. Joculator The 'Old' Fool

    Great sense of humour. :D

I can relate to title. It just happens to be the second most popular phrase used by session musicians. As in "Do you want fries with that?"

that was great, I think I read them all... boy do I need a life or what?

I mean I spent most of this evening going through their archives

Did you see the secret comics you get to by clickin on the question mark that appears when you hover your mouse dart over just outside the right corner of the comic?

I see this one has an extra layer too, but it loads slower, it is going to take longer to see them all.

Is anyone else watching Penny Arcade TV? I'm enjoying it immensely.
