Thank you all. It was a lovely birthday...one of the first I have celebrated with friends since I left the UK and in the true spirit of maturity we had a disney dress up party. 'Twas fun. and washing the dished was the highlight...as they were all throw away!* *don't worry, they will be recycled!

We spent the whole of Wednesday dying one of those feather scarfs brown for a fox tail and were convinced we should re-asign to dead chickens instead - but they worked...eventually.
Happy belated birthday. I remember the time I dyed some chicken feathers, I dried them in my mom's clothesdryer, I'm not sure why she didn't throttle me.
