BBC NEWS | Scotland | Tayside and Central | Chicken lorry crash causes chaos This story just starts so may images in my mind. I hope they get some pictures later!
And in a hundred years time they will say, "And that's how the wild, freedom loving Scottish Land Chicken came to be." Unless there wasn't a single cockerel among them.
The part I liked best was: It made it sound like they were exploding chickens that only "specialist chicken handlers" could do something with. I can just hear it now. "We've got to get that road cleared before the chickens go off. Call in the special forces and tell them to bring their protective chicken clothing. WATCH OUT! I HEARD ONE CLUCK!!" *BOOOOM* At the funeral: "Captain Beagle was one of the finest in our company. He was never afraid of any chicken. Even if they were clucking up a storm he would plunge in and do his duty. We've lost a great specialist today." This has brightened my day.
I was just trying to think of an animal that would translate well to a surname. A friend of mine had several beagles that would torment their chickens, so I thought that would work. Edit: If the specialist chicken agents had been around when this video was shot there would have been a completely different ending.
Well, that really depends on what arms dealer they were willing to work with, and the color of their money. It was green, for the record.
