(-: Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes. It really does brighten up my day here. Home was fun, but now it's time to get back to work, and it turns out that it's been a busy time these past few weeks. The last two days alone have seen around 60 mortar attacks on the base. I suppose that it's last minute Ramadan shenanigans. Oddly enough, I can picture a parrallell in my head with Westerners Westerner "Oh my! It's only 5 days until Christmas and I haven't shopped for anyone!" Insurgent "Oh my! It's only 5 days until Eid and I haven't attacked any Americans!" (-: Thanks again for the well wishes!
