...a day late! There was an old birthday thread around I think, from last year - yes, your're around that long already. I hope you had a good day. Hm, let's see... Exactly 911 years ago(in 1095), Pope Urban II started the Crusades with a sweeping speech at the Clermont Council!* In 1582, at this date, William Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway. So this is the day one of Europe's greatest poets ever kept forgetting for the rest of his life! Yay! He was only 18, and she was 26. They would be married 424 years now, if they were still alive. It is also the Independance Day of... Panama! *Its not true actually. The date is right, but the Gregorian calender has been corrected a few times since then, so we don't know how long ago this was. I could do some research, because it can actually be calculated, but it is terribly complicated and seeing I can't count, another year of your life would be gone before I'd would stumble out of the archives with cobwebs in my hair and despair in my eyes.
Ah ha! I am not the only one late this time... Happy birthday! Or I hope you had a happy birthday depending on when you are celebrating it...
