I can't add much, as I'm in a great hurry, and the mobile now goes off for the next three days.

May the year and its curses end, and may the year and its blessings begin!

Brad told me this morning, and I'm the Jewish one, so don't feel bad, Mal  Hashanah tovah, everyone, and lots of good things and happiness, whenever your year chances to start! (Or your millenium, since - according to the Coptic Christian calendar, - the year 2000 has only begun just now!)

Isn't it just wonderful that Ramadan starts tommorow, Israel must just be party-city right now !

Wonderful, an opportunity to unroll my eight months old list of New Years Resolutions - and just start over! :surprised:

Mowgli, with the "ha" (the) prefix, you wished everyone "The Year [is] Good". Doesn't quite work. ;-)

Ga... I DID consider "l'shanah" for a second, and then thought "no way - "le" would be a spanish prefix, and I haven't got my languages THAT mixed up yet..."'

Apparently, I have  ... Thanks for the lesson, Roman and Marcia!
