I really don't know wats the matter with me. I'm doing all right in all my subjects exept one: Maths. I'm doing great in biology, chemistry (organic) computer studies and even physics (to a certain degree). But i am completely unable to do any type of serious maths (this being integration, differentiation and all that crap, im actually good at matrix operations though). Once i get going on any problem for more than 1 min i get tottaly confused, and when i get confused i get frustrated and agitated and i just want to break tabels because i am CONSTANTLY GETTING FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!!!! It is with great certainty that i say that i am going to fail tonights test and as a result the subject. This might be a good thing because then i will then be able to take an easyer maths subject (maths bio) which i will be able to at least pass. #sigh# I needed to get that off my chest. Fell free to call me a dope if i seem incredably stupid to the rest of you. I wont mind. PS: I'm not putting this on the primal screaming thread because if i scream any more today my throat will impload. Also not on the Abomination thread becaus i would put my maths disfunctional brain on as an ABOMI.. EDIT: added the PS
If it makes you feel any better it took me three attempts to pass my maths when I were younger and taking my exams! It was greatly frustrating  and would place myself in that  dumbo group :?
CHEERS willy!!! At least im not alone here. Now if you'lle be excusing me, i have to go prepare for the drinking bindge i will be undergoing shortly after i finish the test (+-1-15 min). I still have half a bottle of brandy in my wardrobe. Think that will be enought??
Well, I hate to have to say this .. but stuff like integration just needs hammering away at. I had the same problem, but I kept plugging away at it .. and one day suddenly, it finally made sense. It's just a case of who cracks first
[quote:e1ea83b8c2="Willmolly3"] Maths is just Evil [/quote:e1ea83b8c2] Evil is such a relative term. I'm actually quite fond of maths. It's queueing theory that's a true horror.
To each their own, I suppose. I hate maths, youhate the queing theory thingy, my best frein hates biology (AS A SUBJECT), the subject that i love, and so on and so forth. Everybody has a subject that they are fond of, which is usually the subject they do well in. Shoot me if i am spouting utter rubbish.
Rubbish it be not, so have no fear. As for biology, I can't say I detest it, myself. I just can't see myself having anything to do with it.
