This was one of my first terry pratchett books i read and i just thought it was amazing. i havent really heard anyone talk about this book , but i really do think its one of his best ones. I love the humour when nanny ogg and weatherwax talk about magrat being a sex symbol, hilerious. The three witches have got the be my favourite charaters,I found it hard to read other books without them in. I recently went into a waterstones recently and read the back of one of the books but didnt remember when i got home what the title was called. It was about nanny ogg and weatherwax battling the vampire lord or something along them lines. anyone know?
Carpe Jugulum 'tis the title to which thee refereth. I believe - ith. And welcome to the bored TattoedLady. R.
I hope the TattoedLady isn't BORED yet- I think you mean BOARD! And "Carpe Jugulum" derives from "Carpe Diem" - "Seize the Day" - so "Carpe Jugulum" translates (in Pratchettian Discworld terms) as "Go for the Throat"
