Munster won the Heineken Cup Final!!!!! Woooohooooo!!! Sorry lads and ladies, but I've just spent the last 3 hours up at the airport waiting for their triumphant return! The atmosphere was electric! The music was crap - but you can't have everything. But the best bit was that they came out onto the balcony and sang The Fields of Athenry! Up Munster! I can't upload any photos because they are too darn big! Damnit! But it was seriously, seriously great!
I know, what a game! Was screaming at the tv for the whole match. People probably thought I'd Tourette's! For once I'd like Munster to be 8 points up near the end so I don't have a panic attack every time the other team runs into the Munster half!
But that's half the fun! Those glory heart attack moments where you don't know whether to laugh, cry or stalk the idiot that fumbled. And I still can't get that bloody song out of my head...stupid Fields of Athenry...
