After more than two years on and off, (primarily on during the summer and the odd bit during the college year) I've finally completed The Chosen One. When I say it's complete, I mean that I've reached the end of the story. Of course there will need to be a master edit (I need to read it over and add in/remove little bits). So at the moment it stands at around 49,000 words. I'm thinking this may bit a bit too short, so I may have to think up some more stuff to slot in. Part Thirty-Four is up now in the Members' Writing section for your reading pleasure. I would have added more but forgot my memory stick today (yes folks, I finally stopped using floppy discs and swear I'll never go back!). Any feedback on the novel would be great: be it regarding the storyline, characters, the length, or even the lack of chapters. Adding chapters was actually something I've been thinking about but am very unsure as to where they should be.
Cool, man. I haven't actually read your novel yet, but if I ever have time with a handy printer, it will be done.
You don't mean that it ends at part 34 now, do you? There are way to many plot issues to be adressed!
Congrats on finishing, but shame on you for invisibumping the thread on the old board. We've talked about that before.
I must admit I'm a bit confused as to why you invisibumped your story on the old boards, is there a reason for it? Surely it can't be so Dragonmother and Regicide can read it?

Also, to Garner, I invisbumped it in the old board because I'd made some minor revisions to the text. But have decided that I shan't be doing any more stuff on the old board from now on.
Ok, the final Part, 35, is up now in Members' Writing. It's actually a relief to have it up there for all to see + it gives me another backup, should anything drastic happen to my memory stick, hard-drive & floppy disk! I'm working away now at revision of the text. Added another few hundred words here and there.
