*hug* Aww come on, love is everywhere, I'm sure you can find a couple of dogs to take a pic of and not feel too left out. Yeah, I know it's a bit hard on the singles around, but hey, maybe you'll start noticing the little bits of love that are around you without having to be half of a couple...
Rinso, you make me laugh. :oints and laughs:: Who said 'love' has to be romantic love, anyway? It can be familial connection, profound friendship, religious ideal, devotion to a cause, or all kinds of things. And don't forget - among the many ancient Greek concepts - storge (did I spell it right, Avgi?), the love of things. Or, as Cat Stevens said, "I love my dog as much as I love you." He did convert to Islam, later, so perhaps developed more conventional tastes.
A Cat loving a Dog? Disgusting. I hope more people enter this month, it's always better with more people!
My camera died yesterday so it looks like I can't enter this one. Maybe next month. I had a great idea for a pic too.
We'll probably never know which animals, besides humans, experience love, but we often feel love ourselves when we see images like this:
I wish I knew how to use and find Mom's camera, there were a pair of trumpeter swans resting maybe thirty feet from the edge of the road in a cornfield near my folks house, it is amazing to see how big they are.
Here's mine, it's a piece of graffiti from a long subway tunnel on my way to work. There are two tunnels, that lead under the road that goes round a huge roundabout, on one side there's a lycée (school for age 15-18) and on the other side is a collège (school for ages 11-15) and in the middle of the roundabout is a bus stop. The tunnel on the lycée side is covered in what I call "hate graffiti", poltical slogans, insults, tags... The tunnel on the collège side is very colourful, and there is a lot of "love graffiti" like this. I always think of what it was like to be a young teenager and in love and wanting everyone to know while being shy about it. How many of us have doodled love statements on a corner of paper, a school desk, tree bark or walls somewhere ?
Fudge! Really not much time left, and I still have no ideas! I must be dead inside. I hope more people enter this bad boy. KK, Doors, mmm?
i've got one. this bit of existential vandalism is on a post in the park by our house. it makes me laugh.
This is a picture of valinetines messages I made for a friend at work. The messages ran where a nice of niceness and thinks like "Your a Spaz" They're now stuck around her computer.
