 Now there's someone who is going to be the most self confident child in kindergarten for some time. On second thought, I hope they don't drag him through the media jungle too much.
The psychologist said he can't distinguish fantasy from reality. But, hello, he's four years old! Am I the only one who thinks that seems pretty normal for 4?
It seems pretty 4yo to me...he probably didn't understand the robbery more than he can't distinguish reality... I think he couldn't distinguish the danger in the situation.
He would have actually [i:767502ff06]caught[/i:767502ff06] them if he'd watched He-Man or teenage mutant ninja turtles. He'd have apprehended and possibly killed them if he'd watched Loony Toons. Children's programming today.....
That's pretty normal for a four year old. I've read cases of kids jumping off their balcony in an attempt to imitate their favourite flying superhero. I think cartoons of the order of Mickey Mouse are better .. its easier to distinguish fact from fiction. And with the level of graphics in today's cartoons, its even harder for the kids .. it really looks real.
Hm, true... I suppose many psychiatrists would not be able to make a living from telling people that they and their children are basically normal and all in all mentally stable and healthy...
