Yeah could be that too. they look alike from the underside, to know exactly what it is we'd need to see the top of it for markings. There are alot in the Ray and Shark family that are like that underneath.

this is totally on a side note, but Stercus would you mind not putting funky font code in your signature? as for the possibility of it being a devil fish, if it's the same thing i'm thinking of, they have a tendancy to wash up on the shore of mexico here, due to the bizzare 'face' and a sort of crucifix effect visible from the skin drying over the cartlidge, it causes a bit of a stir among the locals. the only one of those i ever saw, however, was probably only a foot long. and i may well be thinking of an entirely different species.
I never really looked at it properly. I just thought it might be crap because of all the nearly naked ladies everywhere, like it's trying to get us poor vulnerable men to sign up for something.
I recently stumbled on a 'dating' service that only focused on helping people already in committed relationships hook up for clandestine shags. So, I was a bit curious as to what sort of people you might find on such a site, and if they were all going to be sleazy guys or what... It was a bit... awkward... explaining to Grace why I was looking at that site. Make that extremely awkward. So now I just tend to ignore those sort of links. Pretty sure that's a guitar fish. Sailors used to manipulate them to look a type of mythical creature called a 'Jenny Haniver', supposedly a type of mermaid. By chance, I saw one today at the Centre of Life in Newcastle, part of their temporary 'Myths and Monsters' exhibition:

Pfff, not changing the pics themselves, just laying out the deeply philosophical texts and scandalously overcharged phone numbers around them so they can be printed in the local paper... but hey, there aren't many, we also have mediums, astrology lines, games, and stuff, although sometimes I'd rather have to deal with "hornee babes" rather than some of the mediums' pics, they can be so scary ! Hang on, how did we get from ugly sea monsters to mild porn ? Oh, yes. Garner.
