Like I said once, I really like sweet stuff. So does anyone have some recipe for a sweet (possibly chocolate) cake, cookie or anything else :?:
I am one of them. Hot chocolate is good, but has it's own time and place. Whilst Coffee is everywhere and now, Coffee most certainly rules the domain of hot drinks, followed closely by a Cup of Tea of course.
every once in a while i like a nice double espresso. that's about it for my coffee intake most days. a while back i experimented by adding a bit of toasted cardomom and black pepper to the coffee, but i kept putting in too much coffee (trying to get the hang of these cafeitre things, whatever they're called/spelled, and i fouled up the dosage something awful) and so i havent had any for ages now
I do sometimes agree with you on this but just because you have such a crap beard i'm going to stick with Coffee.
KENNY! Go and wash your mouth out with soap! Then see how your coffee tastes! Seriously though, I like a nice cup of coffee now and then, but you can't beat tea. Coffee is often a bit too in-yer-face for my liking.
Coffee = King But I love a bit of herbal tea at night to wind me down. All other times, Coffee = King!
For me, coffee passed kingship years ago. Coffee is now my one and only GOD (it deserves, desires, and requires an all capital name, not just the first letter).
My body refuses coffe, it is way to strong. Plus, it tastes awful although it smells divine. :doubt: So tea is the preferred alternative, if there's no hot chocholate around.
I usually mix my hot choclate and coffee, with lots of sugar. I drink coffee but i don't like the tast so i try to mas it. if ime feeling really good i mix in some "caramel treat" (the readers in south africa will definitly know what i am talking about). OK, i admit it, i have a sweet tooth  .
bad taste? nononononononononono coffee = goood taste. I have a really good recipe for a hot chocolate. Its a little expencive but damn worth it Hot chocolate : Serves 4 (not sure of this) 40 g dark chocolate, 70% cocoa 20 g cocoa powder 25 cl crème fraîche 75 cl milk 1 sachet vanilla flavoured sugar 1 teaspoon instant coffee 1 pinch cinnamon 1 vanilla pod Melt the chocolate and cocoa in a bain-marie. In a saucepan, boil the crème fraiche and add the instant coffee and the vanilla flavoured sugar, stir. Add this to the molten chocolate and stir. In a saucepan, boil the milk withe the vanilla pod, cut in halves and scratched the seeds to put them in the milk. Without heating, and whip the chocolate cream in the milk. Add the cinnamon. Heat and boil the whole while whipping. Drink it.
Yes, yes i know. coffee should tast good, i hear about it ALL the time from my freinds, parents and you, but it just doesn't seem to be like that for me. There maby something wron with my brain chemistry. i can't help it.
You may just be too young to appreciate the strong bitter flavour of coffee, you may still have too many tastebuds left. The older you get the fewer you have and can learn to like flavours that were too strong when you were younger.(Some people never learn to like coffee, poor souls.) Here is my best recipe for chocolate cakereheat oven to 350F, grease a 9x13 cake pan with nonstick cooking spray, dust the bottom with a couple teaspoons cocoa powder, cream together ( beat on low speed in a large electric mixer bowl until well combined and creamy textured) 3/4cup margerine or butter 1-3/4 cup sugar Add 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla extact, beat 1 minute at medium speed, Combine 2 cups flour, 3/4 cup cocoa powder, 1-1/4 teaspoon baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon salt add the dry mixture to the wet mixture a little at a time, as you also add 1-1/3 cup water a little at a time, pour batter into your prepared pan and bake in a 350F oven for 35- 40 minutes, the top of the cake will sring back when you touch it when it is done. Let it cool and frost with your choice of frosting, or dust with a little confectioner's sugar while it is still warm.
Dane, that's one INTENSE hot chocolate! If I'm ever on death row, I'm requesting it as my last meal (writes down the recipe, in order to carry it around, just for those cases). I need coffee to keep my eyes open at work, but it tastes ugh and probably does horrible things to my stomach. If I do'nt HAVE to stay awake, it's chai all the way Oh, and this is VERY sweet (and healthy - but you don't have to think about that part!): sliced apples dipped in honey. Or caramel, if you're not a honey person.
Coffee goes with chocolate. THem parting is an abnormal abomination, a sad pox on our societies. Tripple mocha frappes all the way!
There is a turkish proverb saying "Coffee must be as hot as fire, as dark as night and as sweet as love". Turks are a bunch of romantic fools *sips completely unsweetened coffee that is so thick it can be used instead of tar*
Coffee and soap, now there's an idea. If that can't cure a hangover then it'll certainly get rid of my pork scratching breath.
