Yes. That one. *cough* To see the history, check this: http://www.terrypratchettbooks.org/discworld/boardania/268-boardanian-chain-diary-12.html ...and this thread:http://www.terrypratchettbooks.org/discworld/boardania/1124-chain-diary-iind-virtual-version-2.html Seeing as good as no one who took part processed it before months had passed, I hereby autocratically decide upon the following: The Chain Diary that has already been started, and is currently in the Garner household, shall be either brought or sent to the meetings of Board Members, so those participants of either friendly meetings or cons (who often are identical with the old core of the gang and sometimes greet a newbit among them, too) can make an entry, however measly, or just sign. It is thus used as a kind of mobile guest book, and may fill up in the future - in case such meetings are being continued. Let's just hope so. The new Chain Diary which is hereby started by me is as well a real print diary as a virtual one. I have more control over the project, and it doesn't depend on people sending it aroud the world - which is a tad sad, because the whole thing having travelled the world gave it a nice touch, but there you go. It goes as following: I buy a stack of good paper. 1. You can either send me scanned stuff -or just a plain text, or anything else -via mail, and I print it out for you, on said paper. 2. Or you pm me your adress, I send you a few pages (it has to be the same paper for everyone, more or less), you make somthing of them, and send them back to me. 3. Or you do something of your choice, pm me for my adress, send it to me, and I glue it on the paper for you. Pick your choice. Once I have enough results together, I will have the stack of paper with your works on them bound -which doesn't cost much here-, and there will be a real book. There will also be occasional scans, and, in the end, a pdf that can be processed to everyone who took part, or is a member of the community. Coments? Hopeful participants? Anybody?
Well my swearwords project never got any feedback and so is gathering dust in a corner of my hard drive. I'll try to do it on my own and send it to you...
 Sorry, Hsing! I do keep reminding Garner to do his entry, but he hasn't yet. No nagging today, though, he has a job interview later. I'm definitely interested in joining in, but I have been uncreative for months. I'll see what I can come up with later.
My swearwords topic is here : http://www.terrypratchettbooks.org/discworld/boardania/1410-silly-buggers-et-al.html Hsing, you even answered it, shame on you
Fine everyone, pm me for my adress if you are interested in participating. We'll lure the rest with results.
In print?* To my e-mail-adress, which hasn't changed. If you don't have it anymore, drop a line. *paradox, heh?* *Its still going to be a two dimensional project, not *that* virtual, i am afraid - although that might be an interesting idea... The *Moving* Boardanian Chain Diary, complete with sound files and animations! I see a Second Life like design of a room where one can walk around and, say, start an old grammophone, to hear a song, looks on virtual frames on the wall with pictures in it, talks to some avatars representing boardanians and their statements for the diary... I also see someone else designing that one.
I have a poem I could send. It got published in an anthology, but I still own the rights to it, so it can go in the Chain Diary.
Great! That makes, er, three entries so far. Possible participants: You can also add stuff we already know, by the way... Photos you took, a Tripod, a short story, Plaid Identity Art...
